About our company: Young Scholars offers individualized tutoring and college counseling for K-12th-grade students. We provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in all subjects, including AP and Honors courses. Our goal is to help our students maximize their chances for academic success! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both subjects and a proven track record of helping students improve their SAT scores. The instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons, providing personalized feedback, and fostering a supportive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Instruction: Teach SAT Math and English content, strategies, and test-taking skills to high school students.</li><li>Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students.</li><li>Assessment: Evaluate students' progress through practice tests, quizzes, and assignments, providing constructive feedback.</li><li>Support: Offer personalized support and guidance to help students achieve their target scores.</li><li>Motivation: Inspire and motivate students to excel in their SAT preparation and academic endeavors.</li><li>Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective test preparation program.</li><li>Adaptability: Stay updated on changes to the SAT exam and adjust teaching methods accordingly.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, English, Education, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.</li><li>Experience: Experience teaching SAT Math and English.
