We are passionate about offering guidance to people going through divorce or family legal issues while providing a sense of security.If you are a solo lawyer whose daily duties distract you from taking great care of clients or have outgrown a firm that follows a cookie-cutter approach, this is a great opportunity for you. This is a full-time job that requires on-site hours of 40 hours each week. We provide a competitive steady salary but also offer a bonus structure.Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will manage family cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients. Innovating case strategies based on the client's desired outcomes is key. Being competent to draft and edit pleadings, negotiate with opposing counsel, and litigate fiercely for clients in court is likewise crucial. All of this will be in addition to building client relationships and providing an excellent client experience. Work in the firm will include:<ul><li>Litigating contentious hearings when beneficial negotiations have failed</li><li>Planning client-centered strategies to put the client in the best position possible under the facts</li><li>Engineering creative solutions to maximize the client's position under the facts.</li><li>Negotiating thoughtful settlements that seek to destroy the zero-sum narrative associated with family law</li><li>Preparing tactical operations to influence successful outcomes</li><li>Working directly with clients to advise them on best practices to minimize client stress and mitigate client risk during the proceedings</li><li>Advising clients of non-legal ideas to help prepare them for life after the case</li></ul>This position includes base compensation plus generous incentive payments based on results.Qualifications:Our ideal candidate is:<ul><li>Licensed with the Texas Bar Association;</li><li>Has a record of success guiding clients through their family law cases, achieving positive results, and helping them and their families build a better tomorrow;</li><li>Able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding;</li><li>Is a team player with the empathy, creativity, and organization to help us expand our business;</li><li>Is a BIG believer in the value of a team.
