<div><div><b>MIS DATA SPECIALIST (ECE)</b><br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Performs technical data collection and data analysis for the programs in the Division.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</b><br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>High school diploma or GED plus four (4) years of demonstrated experience working with computers to include general office experience.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in the use of office and word processing software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) is preferred. Ability to quickly learn software specific to the department.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize, work under tight deadlines, complete multiple tasks, organize time effectively, conduct web searches, and identify resources for projects.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Must have excellent written and oral communication skills to include proofreading and editing.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Must be able to use discretion in all facets of work-related situations.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Ability to perform all works rapidly and accurately, meeting all deadlines when applicable.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Must be able to communicate technical subject matter to end-users in a non-technical manner.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Ability to work under time constraints and other demands.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Ability to develop methods for intake and prioritization of troubleshooting requests.<br>

<div><b>JOB CHARACTERISTICS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</b><br>

<div>This is a professional position which requires organizational and communication skills, as well as judgment, tact and diplomacy in contacts with YDI employees, community residents, parents and local government agencies.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Strict adherence is required to all regulations concerning confidentiality.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Good general health: Bending, stooping, and/or lifting heavy objects (with or without assistance) is required on occasion during the process of troubleshooting individual workstations. Physical demands may involve lifting materials and equipment up to 25 pounds.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Physical and TB tests are required at offer of hire and may be required every five years.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Background to investigation to include fingerprinting will be required.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>Travel may be required. Must submit proof of satisfactory car insurance under NM Motor Vehicle requirements.<br>
</div><div></div><br>

<div><b>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Not Inclusive):</b><br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Provide oversight and management of an on-line relational agency wide MIS database on<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; client services, including data entry, troubleshooting, and reporting.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Responsible for entering all child and family information into the approved data management system including but not limited to application, health &amp; nutrition information, special needs, emergency information, attendance, social services information, etc.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Generate reports on a regular basis.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Responsible for typing, copying, and distribution of flyers, correspondence, etc.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Attend Monthly staff meetings<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Answers telephone calls and send messages as needed.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Attend all relevant training.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Assist the application process &amp; provide information to parents &amp; community.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Reconciles monthly data with Program Information Manager.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Insures that tracking sheets are regularly updated and accurate.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Be responsible for the oversight of program compliance with HIPAA regulations to include attending training and providing training to site specific staff on these regulations.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Support with data entry for other ECE programs as needed<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Coordinate services with the YDI IT department as appropriate.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Perform tasks to aid in the on-going support of computer users.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Participate in writing reports and documentation of methods and procedures.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Develops basic practical information system skills.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Assist home-based staff as needed with completing applications, monitoring and follow-up of program participant referrals.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; May conduct analysis of data for reporting, grant writing and quality assurance purposes.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Cover the front desk<br>
</div><div></div><br>
<div>&bull; Other duties as assigned.<br>
</div><div></div><br>
