We are a small wellness clinic looking to add a nurse practitioner to our growing telehealth division! This will be a 1099 position with the flexibility to set your own availability. Work hours may vary per week, approximately 3-12 hours a week. This is a great opportunity for a second job!Responsibilities: 1. Conduct remote evaluations and consultations with patients seeking weight loss assistance. 2. Develop individualized health plans that promote healthy lifestyle changes and sustainable weight loss. 3. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. 4. Prescribe and manage medications as needed. 5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. 6. Provide education and counseling to patients on weight management and healthy lifestyle choices. 7. Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.Qualifications: 1. Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice. 2. Prefer 1 year experience but willing to train a motivated new grad! 3. Proficient in telehealth platforms and electronic medical records. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work independently, make decisions and problem-solve. 6. Demonstrated ability to develop personalized care plans. 7. Commitment to staying informed about the latest research and advancements in weight management and obesity treatment.We offer competitive compensation, flexible scheduling.
