<div>The Vice President of Hotel Operations Asset Management is responsible for ensuring all Tribal hotel assets are providing a consistent, high level of service excellence based on established company standards and customers&rsquo; expectations. This critical role provides strategic and operational leadership for all hotel assets involved in planning, developing, operating, and maintaining a hospitality driven guest experience. This position develops strategic hotel goals and works with the hotel executive management team to transform them into tactical plans; as well as, provide leadership to ensure goals are attained. 
 
The VP improves revenue generating capacity, increases productivity, upholds the image of all hotel assets in the hospitality portfolio, and provides a safe and efficient working environment which is essential to the overall performance of portfolio assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Together with hotel executive management team creates a memorable hospitality experience for our guests along with providing great value and ensuring guests&rsquo; satisfaction by collaborating with and developing hotel management and employees to ensure that Service Excellence is the standard. 
2. Creates and implements new innovations to enhance guest experience based on current trends as well as maintain knowledge of new and evolving technology in hotel management to ensure all hotel assets are maximizing efficiencies by conducting research, attending seminars, educational workshops, classes, and conferences. 
3. Together with the Vice President of Hospitality Asset Management, develops a business plan that will support Asset Management Committee initiatives and enhance hotel quality and service, associated costs, employee development, retention strategies, and employee productivity benchmarks. Create, develop, and recommend short and long-term hotel planning guidelines and procedures, annual operating budget, and capital budget program that are aligned with enterprise goals, analyzes hotel revenue and labor reports, making strategic adjustments as necessary to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability, as well as partnering with the Shared Values Marketing department and other external marketing resources to leverage offers and services. 
4. Work together with hotel executive management team to establish a hospitality culture with accurate and timely service to the highest level of customer satisfaction and propose innovative solutions for continual improvement for both operations and employee engagement. 
5. Work together with Vice President of Hospitality Asset Management and hotel executive management team to establish hotel asset goals, objectives, and strategic planning and provides direction, guidance, and support to ensure the successful operation of the hotel asset. 
6. Works together with hotel executive management team to maintain training and certifications applicable to the hotel team members and ensures all training, regulatory, inventory, and team member documentation is complete and up to date. 
7. Champion the importance of safety and compliance to reinforce a culture of safety and team support and creates a compliance culture within the organization by fostering an environment where hotel employees feel empowered to report potential violations and/or misconduct, ensure passing health inspections conducted by outside sources in all areas, and complies with all regulatory agency requirements to maintain required permits and/or licenses. 
8. Create an environment that motivates hotel employees to collaborate, learn, perform their best, and develop their skills as it relates to lifelong learning. 
9. Performs other duties as assigned to support the eﬃcient operation of the department. 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization&rsquo;s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Makes hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Real Estate or related field required.</li><li>
Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Real Estate or related field preferred.</li><li>
Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in hotel industry required.</li><li>

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS<ul><li>
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.</li><li>
Certified Hotel Asset Manager (CHAM), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) preferred.</li><li>
Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.</li></ul>

Vice President, Hotel Operations Asset Management

<div>Reporting to the Supervisor, Spa Services, the Spa Room Specialist is responsible for guiding guests through their spa experience while ensuring all service and facility standards are met. Demonstrates a passion for people, encouraging and inspiring guests to elevate their health and beauty, while creating a memorable best in class guest and safety experience. Responsible for ensuring operational excellence while providing a clean and safe environment for all guests, team members and vendors, while safeguarding enterprise assets and guaranteeing departmental integrity. Supports a variety of spa/salon services, ensuring the utmost hospitality and assisting service providers by using their service expertise proving that they are an integral part of our winning team. Outgoing, motivated and capable of adapting to change in a fast-paced service driven environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Greets all guests and provide guests with personal, gracious, and professional service perceptive to their individual wants and needs, at all times. Offers guests a detailed tour and orientation of the spa/salon and amenities and assist them as needed during their visit, including ensuring that they are on time for their appointments. 
2. Familiarizes guests with the locker room experience, salon-grooming area, fitness care amenities and provides all appropriate spa accoutrements to guest. 
3. Assists in the preparation of rooms and tools for scheduled treatments, as necessary. Ensures proper set-up and cleanliness of the treatment rooms including sanitizing according to the approved sanitizing procedures. 
4. Replenishes treatment products in treatment and dispensary areas and removes any items left behind by guests such as towels and robes, as needed. Ensures all areas are well stocked and ensures a high quality presentation of these items in preparation for the arrival of the next guest. 
5. Ensures the locker room is fully equipped and all items are ready for guest use; including ensuring that individual guest lockers are compliant with locker room standards and expectations. 
6. Creates a &ldquo;Guest for Life&rdquo; by providing each guest with the highest quality experience through personalized service by exhibiting a genuine sense of concern for the guest comfort and safety. 
7. Models and upholds enterprise and department policies and procedures as well as standard operating procedures. Ensures day-to-day operations including product receiving, fulfillment, training/certification requirements, and compliance in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. 
8. Performs other duties as assigned to support the eﬃcient operation of the department.
 EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
High School diploma or GED is required.</li><li>
Minimum one (1) year of experience in customer service is required.</li><li>

Spa Room Attendant

<div>Under the direction of the Vice President, Tribal Operations &ndash; OTC, the Director, Building Services and Tribal Events-OTC is responsible for strategic leadership and executive oversight for building administration, building services, and Tribal events. Directs staff in supporting all building management services for multiple tribally owned and operated buildings ensuring all facilities meet the highest standards for safety, sustainability, and cultural integrity while advancing operational efficiency and resources stewardship. Directs Tribal events strategy, ensuring alignment with the Nation&rsquo;s vision, mission, values and community priorities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides executive oversight of multiple buildings and properties, including culturally significant sites. Establishes long-term strategy in space planning, sustainability, safety, and capital improvements, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards under Tribal and state law. Directs office relocations, renovations, and construction projects, serving as project manager for major building initiatives. Negotiates and manages vendor and service contracts. Oversees preventive maintenance and repairs in collaboration with internal departments. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all Tribal community building layouts, square footage, and capacity to inform strategic planning and emergency preparedness, including oversight of evacuation plans and staff safety protocols during drills and emergencies.
2. Directs event management team by establishing policies, procedures, best practices for event operations and vendor management. Partners with the Tribal Council Culture Pillar to design and execute high-profile Tribal, staff, and community events aligned with enterprise vision, mission and values, including budget oversight, itinerary development, cultural activities, and other arrangements. Oversees planning and logistics for employee events, Tribal Community events, Tribal community gatherings, and private Tribal Citizen events at the Community Center, Park Pavilion, Amber Hills Park, and Arrowhead Springs.
3. Provides financial oversight for facilities and events, developing and implementing budget strategies to ensure fiscal accountability and cost-effectiveness. Manages event budgets, contracts, and vendor partnerships to optimize resources. Analyzes financial data to forecast and align current and future budgets with departmental objectives.
4. Serves as key liaison to executive leadership, providing strategic recommendations, presentations, and regular updates on building and event initiatives. Represents the department in high-level meetings involving building administration, building services, construction, and Tribal events. Oversees communications to Tribal Citizens, community members, and team members regarding road closures, construction impacts, and event notices.
5. Directs the administration of the Synergis access system for the Tribal community buildings and Tribal Citizen government IDs. Oversees issuance of new cards, access level authorizations, and system troubleshooting in coordination with DPS Access Control. Provides high-level guidance on policies and implementation plans for current or new systems.
6. Ensures compliance with Tribal law, regulations, and department policies and procedures. Provides leadership and oversight to administrative support functions, including management of phone system directories and auto-attendant updates. Ensures a high standard of customer service to Tribal Citizens, team members, and visitors.
7. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
