WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Security System Designer I, you will be responsible for the quality assurance and quality control of assigned design packages. In this fast-paced entry-level role, you will have the opportunity to support our Engineers and System Designers and learn all aspects of Physical Security design.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Quality Control<ul><li>
Review and validate client project drawings for accuracy and ensure all QC checklist items are adhered to for each project deliverable.</li><li>
Incorporate feedback from the Engineer, System Designer II, and System Designer III for continuous improvement of drawing sets.</li></ul>
Design<ul><li>
Learn and develop a working knowledge of drafting/modeling of the security floor layouts for access control, video, and other various security systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and access control board layout drawings under the guidance of Engineer, System Designer II, and System Designer III.</li></ul>
Production<ul><li>
Under general supervision of the Lead System Design Engineer, support basic design tasks, develop basic security floor layouts, and prepare system drawings.</li><li>
Maintain complete and orderly project files and documentation.</li></ul>
Collaborate<ul><li>
Work collaboratively with the Engineer, System Designer II, and System Designer III on projects from design to closeout.</li><li>
Assist team with the preparation and assembling of documents and packages.</li></ul>
Requirements:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED<ul><li>
Experience: 1+ years of Revit experience in a professional environment required. Revit experience in Security, Electrical, or Telecom fields preferred.</li><li>
Education: Associate degree, Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Electrical Design, or relevant work experience</li><li>
Knowledge:
<ul><li>Electronic security experience with vendor-specific knowledge (Lenel, Software House CCure 9000, DMP, Milestone, etc.) is a plus</li>
</ul></li><li>Skills:
<ul><li>Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software</li>
<li>Proficiency in Bluebeam preferred, Navisworks and Dynamo is a plus</li>
<li>Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and work quality</li>
<li>Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills</li>
</ul></li><li>Abilities:
<ul><li>Tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new technologies and the demonstrated ability to apply new systems to everyday tasks</li>

WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW<ul><li>
The ability to work Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm or 8 am - 5 pm PST time zone, while onboarding is required</li><li>
Must have a quiet, designated workspace free from distractions and access to high-speed internet (minimum 200Mbps d/l, 10 Mbps u/l)</li><li>
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship</li><li>
Candidates must be able to meet client and/or government security screening requirements for the role</li><li>
This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to provide proof of citizenship.</li><li>
The successful completion of a background check is required upon hire and every two years thereafter</li></ul>
