Job Title: Service Technician / Engineer Job Location: Dubai, UAE Industry: Industrial Equipment / Welding Solutions Experience: Minimum 2+ years in welding equipment servicingJob Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Service Technician / Engineer who is responsible for providing quality customer service while ensuring that the customer's issues are resolved timely and within service level agreements. The technician is responsible for providing on-site technical support including, servicing and repair of equipment, replacement of equipment parts and conducting equipment maintenance. The technician is also responsible for maintaining assigned inventory, equipment and service marketing. This is an ideal career building position for a customer focused, technically minded individual with drive and determination. The service technician is a front-line employee who with direct customer facing. This equipment can range as Welding, Lifting, Safety and Hand tool.Duties and responsibilitiesResponsibility:<ul><li>Installation, start-up and commissioning of our company products.</li><li>Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of company products.</li><li>Perform primary diagnosis and troubleshooting of company products.</li><li>Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components</li><li>Record parts and materials used and order or requisite of new parts and materials as required.</li><li>Carry out the installation and starting up of the equipments on customers' sites as when required.</li><li>Do preventive maintenance promptly.</li><li>Diagnose, find solutions and carry out intervention.</li><li>Make adjustments on the equipments according to customer specifications.</li><li>Upgrade the equipments to improve performances (equipment &amp; technology).</li><li>Write post-intervention reports.</li><li>Discuss equipment problems with customer or plant supervisor and assist with parts and material orders.</li><li>Provide training to customer staff and employees (operators and maintenance staff).</li><li>Establish positive relationship to optimize customer satisfaction and loyalty.</li><li>Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.</li><li>Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.</li><li>Responsible for the operations, maintenance, commissioning and repair of electrical chain blocks, welding and drilling machines.</li><li>Troubleshoot complicated mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems including repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.</li><li>Responsible for service marketing.</li><li>Assist in all areas of maintenance with minimal supervision.</li><li>Carry out any other tasks delegated by the company.</li><li>In the performance of your duties, use equipment and resources in accordance with instructions provided by the company.</li><li>Follow procedures, instructions and work orders as part of your normal work functions.</li><li>Maintains adherence to Company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.</li><li>Identifies gaps in safety standards as well as safety risks in the environment and provides recommendations to higher level technical staff and management.</li><li>Practice and comply with all local and company policies and procedures, work rules and safety regulations.</li><li>The position requires the ability to work a flexible work schedule, sometimes including weekends and holidays.</li><li>Position may require extensive travel within an assigned area.</li><li>Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.</li><li>Any related activity assignment by the Line Manager / HOD.</li></ul>QualificationsEducation: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree with an emphasis in Information technologyExperience : 2+ Years of Experience in Welding equipment servicing.Skills:<ul><li>Result oriented, creative; possess strong interpersonal &amp; communication skills; have entrepreneurial leanings</li><li>Ability to understand client's needs and present solutions</li><li>Understanding of market and product</li><li>Ability to gather and analyze information</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Ability to apply government acquisition regulations</li><li>Able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment</li><li>Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner</li><li>Effective negotiation skills</li><li>Sound and accurate judgment</li><li>Well developed interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Computer literate, especially MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)</li><li>Ability to work in a multicultural environment with colleagues around the world and in multiple time zones</li><li>Knowledge on service marketing concepts</li></ul>To Apply: Please send your updated CV with the subject line &ldquo;Service Technician / Engineer&rdquo; to hr@zakertarding.com.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;100,000.00 - &#8377;130,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
