Primary Responsibilities:<br>
<br>
<ul><li>Strong business acumen with the ability to elicit business requirements from a variety of stakeholders and represent the voice of the business and the customer</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Collaborates primarily with stake holders, scrum teams and other stakeholders to identify and close product gaps.</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Experience writing requirements in the form of user stories</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Experience refining and clarifying requirements with both business and IT stakeholders by creating various artifacts such as process maps, wire frames, mockups, etc.</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Excellent communication skills; comfortable leading sessions and presenting findings to all levels of the organization</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Ability to build trusted partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Adequate technical acumen to communicate effectively with engineers and understand technical tradeoffs</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Lead grooming and clarification sessions to provide engineering, QA, and UAT teams detailed requirements to develop and test against</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Partner with Product Managers to execute on the product roadmap by working with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and create supporting artifacts</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Partner with various stakeholders to extract defects and opportunities to be converted into the product backlog</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Partner with user experience to translate UI design and research into actionable development ready user stories</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Partner with User Acceptance Testers to ensure the delivered product meets the business objectives and launch criteria</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Successfully communicate and work with brand presidents, officers, external contacts, and internal departments to perform responsibilities.</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Use and continue &ldquo;paperless&rdquo; document management systems.</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Maintain confidentiality of personal information.</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Interface with others in a professional manner and be a trusted go to person.</li></ul><br>

Education &amp; Experience:<br>
<br>
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or relevant field of study preferred<br>

Experience:<br>
<br>
<ul><li>8+ years of business analyst experience, preferably in Omnichannel or eCommerce/Point of sale applications. 2+ years should be in the relevant airline industry as Product Owner or Business Analyst is mandatory.</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Experience with MS Visio or similar workflow process tools.</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Experience with JIRA or similar tools preferred.</li></ul><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Experience working in agile delivery models preferred.</li></ul><br>
<br>

Bridging Finance and Engineering</b>: Collaborate organization-wide to align cloud strategies with financial goals, promote FinOps principles, guide teams to architect cost-effective cloud solutions, and ensure transparent budgeting.<br>

Reporting and Insights</b>: Develop and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI or similar analytics platforms to visualise spend patterns, track fund usage, and provide actionable insights on how resources are allocated across departments and research projects.<br>

Demonstrated success in leading FinOps initiatives, such as developing governance frameworks, automating cost reporting, or driving organization-wide cost-saving strategies.<br>
</li><li>
Experience creating and delivering training or educational programs on cloud financial management to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ideally in a research or academic setting.<br>
</li><li>
Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools as well as cost management tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Google Cloud Billing).<br>
