Employment Type: Part-Time/Full-Time
Hours: Evenings, 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Saturday Availability Required 
Job Summary:
Zax Creamery is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Evening Team Lead to oversee our evening operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, ice cream, and coffee, coupled with a knack for leadership and team management. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that our evening shift runs smoothly, providing an exceptional experience for each customer while maintaining the high standards of our brand. 
Key Responsibilities: 
&#65279;Leadership &amp; Management:<ul>
<li>
Maintain a positive mental attitude.</li>
<li>Supervise, train, and motivate evening shift staff to ensure excellent service and adherence to company policies.</li>
<li>Schedule staff according to business needs, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.</li>
<li>Manage daily operations.</li>
<li>Additional duties and tasks as assigned by management.</li></ul> 
Customer Service:<ul>
<li>
Ensure all customers receive outstanding service by providing a warm, welcoming environment.</li>
<li>Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and a positive attitude.</li></ul> 
Product Quality &amp; Inventory:<ul>
<li>
Oversee the preparation and quality of ice cream and coffee products.</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and place orders for supplies as needed.</li>
<li>Ensure all products are stored, prepared, and served according to health and safety regulations.</li></ul> 
Financial Management:<ul>
<li>
Handle cash transactions, operate POS systems, and ensure accurate cash handling.</li>
<li>Conduct nightly cash outs, reconcile sales, and prepare reports for management.</li></ul> 
Cleanliness &amp; Maintenance:<ul>
<li>
Maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers, adhering to health and safety standards.</li>
<li>Coordinate minor maintenance tasks or report significant issues to the management.</li></ul> 
Team Development:<ul>
<li>
Foster a positive work environment and team spirit.</li>
<li>Identify training needs and opportunities for staff development.</li></ul> 
Qualifications:<ul>
<li>
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry.</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and leadership abilities.</li>
<li>Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of inventory management and cash handling procedures.</li>
<li>Must be able to work evenings and weekends.</li>
<li>Food safety certification is a plus.</li></ul> 
Physical Requirements:<ul>
<li>
Ability to stand for extended periods.</li>
<li>Capability to lift up to 50 lbs for restocking duties.</li>
<li>Must be able to work in a cold environment (freezers) for short periods.</li>
<li>Must be flexible in scheduling, and able to come to work on short notice.</li></ul>
