The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!</p><p></p><p><br>
The Social Media Team plays a pivotal and visible role in expanding Zebra&rsquo;s brand and voice. By sharing meaningful content using audience-specific strategies, we can build credibility amongst our customers, partners, and employees, as well as listen to active conversations which benefit the organization.</p><p><br>
</p><p>This marketing Internship at Zebra will provide you with the foundation to explore and apply for Zebra's Marketing Development Program (MDP). The MDP is a two-year, full-time rotational program offering employees the opportunity to learn from experts throughout the marketing organization at our Lincolnshire, IL headquarters.</p><p></p><div><b><br>

Responsibilities:</b><br>
<ul><li>
Researching, publishing, and writing social media copy for relevant third-party and Zebra content for Zebra&rsquo;s Employee Advocacy Channel in efforts to increase overall employee engagement
</li><li>Assisting with the preparation of social media posts for Zebra&rsquo;s executive thought leaders</li><li>
Building and planning out the social media content calendar with upcoming posts, campaigns, events, etc.</li><li>
Utilizing Zebra&rsquo;s social media management tool to tap into social listening dashboards and reporting</li><li>
Working on various projects with the Social Media Team and collaborating with other interns</li><li>
Analyzing and evaluating content to ensure error-free grammar, spelling, and formatting</li><li>
Work in a hybrid environment while meeting tight deadlines</li></ul><p><b>
THIS IS A HYBRID INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN LINCOLNSHIRE, IL. THE EXPECTATION IS AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE.</b></p><b><br>
Qualifications:</b><p><br>
Required Qualifications:</p><ul><li>
Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or related discipline</li><li>
Must have an anticipated graduation date between 2026-2027</li><li>
Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future</li></ul><p>
Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>
Experience using social media networks in a professional capacity</li><li>
Basic understanding of social media management tools</li><li>
Ability to think both creatively and analytically to drive towards positive results in a fast-paced, innovative work environment
</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, &amp; PowerPoint)</li><li>
Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow</li><li>
Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences</li><li>
Ability to collaborate as part of a team</li><li>
Effective verbal and written communication skills</li></ul><p>

Salary: </b>USD 22.00 - USD 32.00 Hourly</p><p><br>
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.<br>
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
