As our newly appointed Combustion Engineer - End User Support you will be our fired equipment specialist/engineer for customers in the region, providing combustion solutions for furnaces, heaters, boilers, flares, incinerators, or other fired equipment and ancillary technologies. You will apply problem-solving skills across multiple markets, customers, and equipment, travelling to different facilities, diagnosing equipment issues. You will upgrade technologies to satisfy environmental initiatives and solve combustion problems predominately for refining and petrochemical end users with the support of a global team.</div>

Combustion Equipment Insight</b></li><li>
Assist in diagnosing ALL fired equipment for:</li><li>
Mechanical integrity</li><li>
Operational suitability</li><li>
Estimated remaining useful life</li><li>
Diagnose failures and malfunctions</li><li>
Engineer technical and operational solutions</li></ul><div>

Maintenance insight:</b></li><li>
Suggest maintenance scope for repairs</li><li>
Review completed maintenance for suitability</li><li>
Review spare parts inventory and sparing levels</li><li>
Heater and furnace preliminary surveys</li><li>
Pre-turnaround scope generation and reporting</li></ul><div>

Commissioning support:</b></li><li>
Review equipment received at site</li><li>
Review installed equipment for proper alignment</li><li>
Assist with commissioning and startup</li></ul><div>

Zeeco system navigation</b></li><li>
Integrate necessary Zeeco SMEs with site for consultation</li><li>
Develop scope of inquiry for complete solutions</li><li>
Integrate and expedite Zeeco applications and projecting teams</li><li>
Coordinate training and educational opportunities</li></ul><div>

Other responsibilities:</b></li><li>
Contact and visit existing as well as new clients. Ensure Zeeco is established in customer's system and included on their AML (Approved Manufactures List) for all of Zeeco&rsquo;s products.</li><li>
Discover business opportunities and work to generate inquiries.</li><li>
Identify decision makers plus influencers and build trust / long term relationships with them.</li><li>
Be available to make site visits to trouble shoot equipment and provide technical assistance.</li><li>
Visit customer's plants to conduct site surveys.</li><li>
Obtain market intelligence, provide feedback on open quotes, assist with customer clarifications, and win orders.</li><li>
Liaising with other Zeeco sales personnel, applications engineers, project engineers, purchasing, logistics, manufacturing teams etc, and assist when required.</li><li>
Assist with commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting of combustion equipment at customer facilities.</li><li>
Increase the productivity of Zeeco&rsquo;s representatives / agents where present or seek out potential partners that could enhance our site presence.</li><li>
Be prepared to support activity in other territories as and when needed.</li><li>
Give technical and training presentations to customers.</li><li>
Provide constructive feedback to Zeeco&rsquo;s product groups for continuous improvement.</li><li>
Identify end-user facility maintenance turnaround dates and offer Zeeco products and services to support the turnarounds.</li><li>
Working within Zeeco HSE and Quality systems.
</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Knowledge and experience required</b></h3><ul><li>
A good technical or engineering qualification.</li><li>
Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.</li><li>
Demonstrated and proven experience of combustion equipment essential.</li><li>
Mechanical or process engineering background, ideally with some practical commissioning or site experience.</li><li>
Confident in ability to build relationships.</li><li>
Flexible, hard-working, team player.</li><li>
Be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative.</li><li>
Able to work under pressure.</li><li>
Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve thinking laterally.</li><li>
Willing to and go the extra mile.</li><li>
Willing to travel across the UK regularly with occasional International extended trips if required.</li><li>
Ability to communicate at all levels with good verbal and written skills.</li><li>
Good presentation skills. The role could involve presenting to large audiences.</li></ul><div>
