Job purpose</div><div></div><div><br>
Be a part of development team in India. Work on the different technologies used globally. Transfer an exisiting MES solution to a modern hybrid-cloud microservice environment. Develop and support the production site the same way.</div><div></div><div><br>
Duties and responsibilities</div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Develop MES software for Lens Manufacturing</li><li>
Implement systems functions, controls and algorithms</li><li>
Implement Unit-Test to achieve reasonable test coverage</li><li>
Work within an agile project with Azure DevOps</li><li>
Managing the deployment of new or changed versions of the software-solution into edge-environments.</li><li>
Working directly with various technologies (MSSQL/MongoDB/Kafka/Docker) to diagnose issues across your running services.</li><li>
Creating and maintaining training material and documentation for the services which you are deploying and are the owner.</li><li>
Reporting new bugs/issues and solce it on a code basis</li></ul><div></div><div>
Qualifications</div><br>

A successfully completed degree in computer science/business informatics or equivalent work experience.</li><li>
Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience working with in software development</li></ul><div></div><div><br>

Must Have: Using Modern IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA, Ecplipse, Visual Studio,&hellip;)</li><li>
Must Have: Advanced programming experience in Java</li><li>
Must Have: Knowledge of Linux environment</li><li>
Must Have: Very good written and spoken English.</li><li>
Must Have: Very good teamwork skills as well as a customer and service-oriented way of thinking and working.</li><li>
Must Have: First experiences in working in international teams</li><li>
Should Have: Basic knowledge of using GIT for source code versioning</li><li>

   Your Role
  </strong>
 </p>
 <p>
  The role of a Field Service Specialist will involve:
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Providing the necessary services in regard to installation, preventive maintenance, upgrade, calibration, trouble-shooting in the customer premises
  </li>
  <li>
   Analyzing the customer needs and technical problems in a fast and accurate way, offering necessary solutions, and ensuring the customer satisfaction at the highest level
  </li>
  <li>
   Being key person for the trouble-shooting &ndash;
  </li>
  <li>
   Visiting the customers in order to analyze and resolve the problems
  </li>
  <li>
   Identifying the customers&rsquo; needs and sharing those with the relevant unit/s in the company
  </li>
  <li>
   Providing on-site and / or remote support for devices with the fault notification/s
  </li>
  <li>
   Dealing with the customer complaints and offering the best solution to the customer
  </li>
  <li>
   Providing service reports to be delivered on time and in desired standards
  </li>
  <li>
   Communicating effectively with all target groups companywide (sales, management, customers, customer support center etc.)
  </li>
  <li>
   Build and maintaining long-term customer relationships and achieving maximum customer satisfaction and retention by ensuring that customer devices work as they should.

  As a Field Service Specialist you will have:

   Good communication skills, able to converse readily in English, both verbally and in writing.

  <li>
   University degree (electrical&ndash;electronic engineering, mechatronic engineering or similar fields)
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum 1&ndash;3 years&rsquo; experience in a similar position in an international company
  </li>
  <li>
   Problem-solving skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Service-minded way of working and good customer skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to think through difficult customer issues and generate satisfactory customer satisfaction results
