Reporting to the supervisor, the Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe repair and rebuild of tube mill production equipment. The primary focus is to maximize equipment quality, uptime, rate, and yield. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong electrical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to identify and resolve both electrical and mechanical issues. A keen attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Perform electrical maintenance on equipment, following all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).</li><li>
Ensure all guards and safety equipment are in place and functional before returning equipment to operators.</li><li>
Monitor inventory levels of parts, equipment, and supplies; place orders and verify receipts as needed.</li><li>
Utilize manual and computerized maintenance management systems to track, inspect, and report equipment status.</li><li>
Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics to diagnose and repair equipment and machinery.</li><li>
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and quality issues, escalating concerns to supervisors when necessary.</li><li>
Perform breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and changeover tasks on production equipment.</li><li>
Identify and report safety, quality, operational, or output issues when unable to correct them independently.</li><li>
Observe mechanical devices in operation, using precision instruments to diagnose and resolve problems.</li><li>
Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with all safety regulations and company procedures.</li><li>
Operate powered industrial trucks, overhead cranes, and portable cranes as required.</li><li>
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to problem-solving efforts.</li><li>
Comply with OSHA safety standards, including hazard communication, lockout procedures, and ergonomic guidelines.</li><li>
Promote a culture of health and safety in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.</li><li>
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably in a maintenance role.</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required; apprenticeship, journeyman training, military service, or equivalent mechanical/electrical training preferred.</li><li>
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, and interpreting technical drawings.</li><li>
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical systems and PLCs.</li><li>
Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to perform basic math calculations.</li><li>
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.</li><li>
Ability to pass job-related testing, an employment physical, and a drug screening.</li><li>
Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to collaborate and contribute to team success.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.</li><li>
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods throughout the shift.</li><li>

About the Role
As a Welder at Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in fabricating high-quality metal components used in our modular building systems. This position requires precision, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. You will perform a variety of welding operations using multiple techniques, ensuring each product meets engineering and production specifications.
You will collaborate closely with team members across production and assembly areas to ensure seamless project execution. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Killeen, TX.

What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>
Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.</li><li>
Lays out, positions, aligns, and secures parts and assemblies using measuring tools and fixtures.</li><li>
Examines workpieces and verifies conformance to specifications using precision measuring devices.</li><li>
Welds a variety of metals and alloys including aluminum, stainless steel, and cast iron.</li><li>
Clamps, tacks, and grinds parts to achieve required configurations prior to final welding.</li><li>
Determines appropriate equipment and welding methods based on technical drawings and material properties.</li><li>
Monitors welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, or distortion of parts.</li><li>
Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and arc welding systems.</li><li>
Reads and interprets blueprints, work orders, and specifications to plan welding operations.</li><li>
Develops templates and models based on engineering drawings for accurate fabrication.</li><li>
Operates metal shaping, straightening, and bending machinery as needed.</li><li>
Promotes and maintains safe work practices in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.</li><li>

About the Role
As an Abbey Mill Operator (Machine Operator) at Atlas Tube at Zekelman Industries, Kansas City, MO, this role plays a key part in setting up and operating the Abbey steel tube mill to achieve maximum production of pipe and tubing. This position provides direction to mill team members while ensuring production, quality, and safety standards are met. Set up and operate the Abbey steel tube mill to meet production requirements</li><li>

About the Role
As a Supply Chain Analyst at Atlas Tube Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in supporting the organization&rsquo;s Automated Inventory Management (AIM) program through data management, reporting, and process optimization. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate customer and inventory data, monitoring system performance, and identifying opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and customer service.
You will collaborate closely with the AIM Inventory Manager, IT, Sales, Operations, and Customer Experience teams to support automated replenishment processes and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, onsite role located in Chicago, IL.
