Job Title : Interior designer and architect &ndash; ResidentialBased at : Zen Interiors Office/Showroom Dubai BranchReporting to : CEODate : 23 February 2026Job Purpose:Meet with clients, going through the design process, create an offer and supervise execution resulting in a successful completion.Key Responsibilities and accountabilities are:Main Activities:&middot; Preparing conceptual designs for interior design projects&middot; acquiring key information about potential projects, discussing requirements in more detail with clients, and setting project schedules;&middot; Visit sites to ensure the work progresses as per design and time schedules&middot; understanding individual clients' needs, generating aesthetic ideas based on these, and establishing final briefs, concept, mood boards, surveying residences, influencing clients' decisions;&middot; Coordinates samples, spec books, final handover and sign off on the projects.&middot; Responsible for timely completion of each phase of the design process.&middot; conducting feasibility studies for projects;&middot; Responsible for furniture selection that needs to be ordered for retail and packages&middot; researching, recording and analyzing information of products used in the interior design such as for selection custom made joinery, marble, wall claddings&middot; considering materials and costs according to set budgets;&middot; preparing detailed working drawings and designs, plans, models and schemes, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software;&middot; Prepare and present design fee proposals to customers after approval from MD.&middot; Supervising work at the design stage and on-site; coordinating well with sales and operations to bring the projects to satisfactory ending including sign off in terms of bespoke design projects.&middot; working closely with quantity surveyors to establish costs and work schedules, architects to determine the best use of space, manufacturers and construction workers;&middot; Keeping up to date with new developments in the design industry in terms of trends, furniture styles, existing and future color scheme&rsquo;sKnowledge and ExperienceThe incumbent must have knowledge in the following areas:&middot; Must be registered as an architect with Dubai Municipality (or have a 4 years degree that will allow for registration)&middot; European education is preferred&middot; Driving license is an advantage&middot; knowledge of residential design process&middot; administration&middot; supervision&middot; ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering informationSkillsThe incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:&middot; excellent interpersonal skills&middot; team building skills&middot; analytical and problem solving skills&middot; decision making skills&middot; effective verbal and listening communications skills&middot; attention to detail and high level of accuracy&middot; very effective organizational skills&middot; effective written communications skills&middot; computer skills including design software&rsquo;s, word processing programs, and e-mail at a highly proficient level&middot; stress management skills&middot; time management skillsPersonal AttributesThe incumbent must also demonstrate the following personal attributes:&middot; be honest and trustworthy&middot; be respectful&middot; possess cultural awareness and sensitivity&middot; be flexible, creative and have imagination&middot; demonstrate sound work ethicsJob Type: Full-timePay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Master's (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li> Dubai Municipality registration (Required)</li></ul>
