Social Media and Marketing Specialist 
We are looking for a highly driven Social Media and Marketing Specialist to join our growing communications team. This is a high-impact and high-independence role where you won't just post content; you'll shape Zeno's digital voice and drive the real-time conversations defining the future of space, energy, and deep tech. You will own our corporate and executive social media presence, produce strategic content, and support integrated marketing initiatives to accelerate our mission to power the frontier. 
 
In this role you will be responsible for:
Content Strategy &amp; Execution
<ul><li>Develop and execute the end-to-end social strategy for the Zeno brand. Your goal is to make Zeno a leading voice in nuclear innovation that's technically credible and visionary on X and LinkedIn.</li><li>
Produce high-quality, engaging content including graphics, short-form copy, and simple visual assets that translate complex technical ideas into accessible, compelling narratives.</li><li>
Work directly with our in-house production team to strategically drop video and photo content for maximum reach.</li></ul>
Community Engagement &amp; Growth
<ul><li>Handle all day-to-day posting and real-time audience engagement. You'll move beyond scheduling to run live commentary and jump into breaking industry conversations on X, acting as a genuine community manager, not just a moderator.</li><li>
Proactively monitor conversations around space, energy, and defense to engage authentically with industry communities and identify trends for reactive content opportunities.</li><li>
Own our social analytics. Use platform data to constantly test, iterate, and prove the ROI of your strategy&mdash;no busy work, just measurable results.</li></ul>
Executive Thought Leadership Management
<ul><li>Craft high-impact, authentic narratives for our leadership on social platforms such as X and LinkedIn.</li><li>
Conduct content mining (e.g., from speeches, interviews, presentations) to generate original, high-value insights and opinions for executive posts.</li><li>
Develop a consistent publishing cadence to establish executives as key thought leaders in the space, maritime, energy, and defense sectors.</li><li>
Manage the content review and approval process with executives and internal stakeholders to ensure rapid, compliant publishing.</li><li>
Proactively monitor and surface relevant industry news and competitor activity for executive engagement and commentary.</li></ul>
Influencer &amp; Partnership Strategy
<ul><li>Identify, vet, and build relationships with relevant social media influencers, subject matter experts, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the aerospace, maritime, defense, and deep tech communities.</li><li>
Develop strategies to collaborate with these voices, expanding Zeno's reach beyond our immediate network to reach new audiences.</li></ul>
Marketing Campaign Support
<ul><li>Partner with the Communications Manager to amplify product launches, partnerships, events, and executive thought leadership.</li><li>
Support the production and distribution of the company's email newsletter, including content development, list management, and analytics.</li><li>
Support basic website content updates and collaborate on search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives to increase organic visibility.</li></ul>
Key Qualifications and Skills
<ul><li>You have 3+ years of proven, high-impact social media execution (or equivalent experience in a rapid-growth startup environment).</li><li>
X and LinkedIn are your native language. You understand the algorithm, audience dynamics, tone and the culture of both platforms to drive engagement and growth.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience in executive or personal brand ghostwriting and management is highly preferred.</li><li>
You have an innate understanding of internet language, and current trends, coupled with a fine-tuned filter for when to be clever and when to be professional.</li><li>
You're a master of Canva/Photoshop and can make a clean graphic or visual asset in minutes.</li><li>
Ability to translate complex technical topics into compelling stories for diverse audiences.</li><li>
Exceptional writing and visual storytelling skills with a sharp eye for detail and brand consistency.</li><li>
Comfortable with startup speed and the autonomy it requires. We trust you to manage your time and deliver results.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Experience managing both corporate brand accounts and multiple executive profiles.</li><li>
Proven track record of managing or executing influencer/KOL strategies in a B2B, tech, or specialized industry.</li><li>
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) and website content management systems (CMS).</li><li>
Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword research.</li></ul>
Job Functions
<ul><li>Position requires in-office presence in Washington, D.C. (Mt. Vernon/Chinatown) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, remote work is optional on Mondays and Fridays.</li><li>
Travel: Travel is required, &lt;10%</li><li>
Motor Abilities: Sitting and/or standing for extended periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control (hands)</li><li>

Compensation
The anticipated salary band for this position is $65,000-$95,000. The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and other business considerations.

Project Scheduler
Zeno is seeking a highly motivated Project Scheduler to support the mission-oriented efforts of developing and bringing to market Radioisotope Power Systems (RPS) technologies. The Project Scheduler will develop, maintain, and analyze integrated master schedules (IMS) across complex, multidisciplinary programs. This role is critical to ensuring program execution stays aligned with technical milestones, regulatory commitments, and long-lead procurement realities inherent to nuclear and aerospace-class hardware development.
In this role you will:
<ul><li>Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) spanning design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and deployment.</li><li>
Define logical task sequencing, dependencies, durations, and milestones across cross-functional teams.</li><li>
Track schedule performance, identify critical path activities, and assess schedule risk.</li><li>
Perform schedule impact analyses and develop mitigation strategies for risks and changes.</li><li>
Partner with Program Managers, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety, and Licensing teams.</li><li>
Facilitate schedule reviews and ensure alignment with internal and external commitments.</li><li>
Produce schedule status reports, forecasts, and executive-level summaries.</li><li>
Support internal and external program reviews, including customer and government engagements.</li><li>
Help mature scheduling standards, tools, and best practices as the company scales.</li></ul>
Key Qualifications and Skills
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.</li><li>
3+ years of experience as a project scheduler or planning engineer on complex technical programs.</li><li>
Proficiency with scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.</li><li>
Proficiency with Atlassian software such as Confluence and Jira</li><li>
Experience supporting hardware development programs.</li><li>
Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.</li><li>
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li><li>
Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Experience in nuclear, aerospace, defense, energy, or other highly regulated industries.</li><li>
Experience using Ceptah Bridge to interface between MS Project and Jira</li><li>
Familiarity with long-lead procurement and test-driven schedules.</li><li>
Experience supporting government or customer-facing program reviews.</li><li>
Exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM).</li></ul>
