Position Overview</i></b><b>:</b></div><div>
We&rsquo;re seeking a skilled <b>MPU Electrician</b> to join our growing residential solar construction teams. This is a hands-on, high-impact role upgrading residential electrical systems to support solar energy installations &mdash; safely, efficiently, and with pay that rewards your skill.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Key Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Perform Main Panel Upgrades (MPUs) or other residential service changes on homes to support solar energy systems</li><li>
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential settings</li><li>
Perform electrical wiring, conduit layout, and grounding systems following building and electrical standards and codes</li><li>
Read and interpret technical drawings such as blue prints or line diagrams to determine electrical layouts</li><li>
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices</li><li>
Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements and are completed in a timely manner</li><li>
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site</li><li>
Accurately complete project documentation, including photos, labels, and communicate effectively with crew members, the crew lead and field leadership, and the customer</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Required Skills/Abilities:</b></div><ul><li>
5+ years of residential electrical experience, including service upgrades</li><li>
Proven knowledge of NEC codes, especially related to solar, battery storage, and service panels</li><li>
Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications</li><li>
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings</li><li>
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and speciality electrical equipment</li><li>
Valid state electrician license/journeyman preferred, but not required</li><li>
Residential solar experience strongly preferred with knowledge of PV equipment and safety equipment</li><li>
Ability to work independently or as part of a team</li><li>
Ability to follow and adhere to safety requirements</li><li>
Clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicle</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Physical Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>
Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces</li><li>
Ability to work in various weather conditions/extreme environments (hot attics, heat, wind, cold/icy weather, etc)</li><li>
Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders</li><li>
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds regularly</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Schedule:</b></div><ul><li>
Monday to Friday (occasional weekends as needed)</li><li>
