SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join our actuarial team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to apply their analytical skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will gain hands-on experience in core actuarial functions and have opportunities to grow within a collaborative and mission-driven organization. 
RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Assist in the development of Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) reserves for monthly close processes</li><li>
Support monthly financial reconciliation for Value-Based Providers</li><li>
Contribute to the development and submission of Medicare Advantage bids</li><li>
Assist with quarterly forecasting and trend analysis</li><li>
Perform financial analysis and build actuarial models</li><li>
Develop actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis</li></ul>
Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field</li><li>
Completion of at least one Society of Actuaries (SOA) exam</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities</li><li>
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities</li><li>
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship</li></ul>
 Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Experience or coursework in SQL, Python, or R</li><li>
Internship or project experience in healthcare or insurance analytics</li><li>
Familiarity with Medicare Advantage or value-based care models</li><li>
0-3 years experience in actuarial analysis, reserving, Medicare Advantage, and/or value-based settlements.</li></ul>
