 Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a well &ndash; known manufacturing fragrance company is currently seeking a material planner to execute planning activities in order to assure that finished product can be manufactured without interruption and supplied on time to customers.

 Job Summary
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Pay: $35-$40
 </li>
 <li>
 Shifts Available:
 </li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>
 8:00am to 5:00pm
 </li>
 <li>
 Planning schedule that is 100% executable and in line with productivity targets to meet production plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and analyze procurement requirements in MRP
 </li>
 <li>
 Release purchase requisitions for raw materials in accordance with MOQ
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and analyze slow moving and obsolete inventory
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop a deep understanding of the replenishment systems and processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Resolve or escalate supply issues, working with internal stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Share best practices and ideas with teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Support cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Material Planner Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in supply chain, Operations management or Business Administration
 </li>
 <li>
 2-4 years in supply planning, supply chain, production planning, inventory management
 </li>
 <li>
 APICS is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in the flavor, ingredient or fragrance is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 6 sigma/ lean yellow or green belt preferred
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
