Overview:We are seeking a caring and experienced nanny to provide dedicated and nurturing care for our 15 month old daughter and soon to be 4 year old son. The ideal candidate should have a genuine love for children, possess relevant childcare experience, and be committed to creating a safe and stimulating environment for our child's development. Our ideal nanny has experience with toddlers and can bring an informed perspective on activities and ways to engage with them.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide attentive and nurturing care for our 14 month old daughter and soon to be 4 year old son.</li><li>Create a safe and stimulating environment conducive to the childrens' overall development.</li><li>Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures to promote development and creativity.</li><li>Spend time outdoors year-round (park visits, walks, active play).</li><li>Prepare or serve meals and snacks.</li><li>Change diapers and ensure proper hygiene practices.</li><li>Maintain a consistent daily routine for feeding, napping, and playtime.</li><li>Engage in age-appropriate developmental activities to stimulate cognitive and motor skills.</li><li>Monitor and ensure the child's safety at all times.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents about the child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.</li><li>Keep the child's play and living areas clean and organized.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized environment by assisting with light household chores such as cleaning up after activities and tidying play areas.</li><li>Collaborate with parents to understand individual needs and provide consistent caregiving aligned with family values.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience working with children in roles such as babysitting, daycare, or nannying; preschool experience is highly valued.</li><li>Understanding of toddler development stages and needs.</li><li>Comfortable performing light cleaning duties related to childcare areas.</li><li>CPR and First Aid certification, specifically for infants.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to follow parental guidelines.</li><li>Patience, nurturing demeanor, and a genuine love for infant care.</li><li>Ability to commit to the agreed-upon schedule.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable personal vehicle and a clean driving record</li><li>COVID-19 and flu vaccination.</li><li>Non-smoker.</li><li>Authorized to work in the U.S.</li><li>Ability to provide three references, ideally of people whose children you have cared for that are not family members.</li></ul>Ideal Candidate:<ul><li>Warm, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with young children</li><li>College-educated (background in early childhood education or related field is a plus)</li><li>Demonstrated ability to engage children&rsquo;s curiosity through hands-on learning and play</li><li>Organized, proactive, and confident working in a home where parents are present</li><li>Seeking a stable, long-term position with a family</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)</li><li>W-2 employment</li><li>Paid sick leave</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>Paid vacation</li></ul>Performance Reviews:Performance will be reviewed regularly based on the caregiver&rsquo;s ability to meet the baby&rsquo;s needs, adherence to parental guidelines, and overall contribution to the baby&rsquo;s well-being and development.Interview process:<ul><li>Video interview (30-45 minutes).</li><li>Reference and background checks.</li><li>In person visit.</li><li>Paid trial to learn about our children and our daily routine.</li></ul>If interested, please reach out to fzaman5@gmail.com with a copy of your resume.Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
