<ul><li><b>Position Summary:</b>
<ul><li>ZOE International is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven <b>Online Safety Research Intern</b> to support our initiatives in protecting children online. This role will focus on researching apps, games, devices, trends, and tools that are relevant to online safety for kids and teens&mdash;particularly in the areas of social media, gaming, and mobile devices. The information gathered will inform ZOE&rsquo;s educational content, community events, and digital campaigns designed to equip parents and caregivers.</li>
</ul></li><li><b>Key Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Conduct research on apps, platforms, and games popular with kids and teens (e.g., Roblox, TikTok, Snapchat, Discord)</li>
<li>Identify and compile PDF guides, parental control settings, safety features, and privacy tools related to mobile apps and devices</li>
<li>Watch and summarize relevant YouTube videos (e.g., parent reviews, how-to tutorials, expert interviews)</li>
<li>Track and summarize emerging trends in online grooming, sextortion, and digital exploitation tactics</li>
<li>Help identify tools and resources used by other nonprofits, law enforcement, and tech platforms for child online safety</li>
<li>Organize and categorize research into Google Drive folders or project management tools</li>
<li>Provide weekly summary reports and recommendations based on findings</li>
<li>Assist with sourcing visuals or short clips that may be useful for digital campaigns or educational resources</li>
</ul></li><li><b>Ideal Candidate:</b>
<ul><li>Passionate about child protection, digital safety, or nonprofit work</li>
<li>Strong research and organizational skills</li>
<li>Comfortable navigating social media platforms, mobile apps, and digital tools</li>
<li>Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)</li>
<li>Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Excellent written communication skills</li>
<li>Bonus: Interest in marketing, digital education, or youth ministry</li>

<li>Analyze performance using <b>Google Analytics</b> and prepare basic reports</li>
<li>Contribute to <b>SEO</b> projects, including content research and keyword optimization</li>
<li>Collaborate on <b>inbound marketing</b> tactics (e.g., lead magnets, landing pages)</li>
<li>Participate in brainstorms and contribute creative ideas to amplify ZOE&rsquo;s mission</li>
<li>Assist with light copywriting, design input, or campaign scheduling (as needed)</li>
