Staff Nurse

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Dispense prescribed medicines accurately and efficiently to inpatients and outpatients.</li><li>Review prescriptions for errors, interactions, and proper dosage before dispensing.</li><li>Counsel patients and caregivers on correct medication use, dosage, and possible side effects.</li><li>Maintain adequate stock of medicines, consumables, and controlled drugs as per hospital norms.</li><li>Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) and ensure proper batch tracking and storage conditions.</li><li>Coordinate with the purchase department for timely replenishment of drugs and consumables.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of narcotics, billing, and daily issue registers.</li><li>Support doctors and nurses with information on drug availability, substitutions, and interactions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with hospital and NABH standards related to pharmacy operations.</li><li>Participate in audits, inventory checks, and periodic stock verifications.</li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety and infection control guidelines.</li><li>Report medication errors, near misses, and adverse drug reactions promptly.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>B.Pharm / D.Pharm with valid registration from the State Pharmacy Council.</li><li>Minimum 6 months &ndash;3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of hospital formulary, medical terminology, and computer-based billing systems.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;14,343.92 - &#8377;20,300.96 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
