Applications Engineer

Responsibilities:

Software:
<ul><li>
Calibrating ZOLLER image processing software</li><li>
Modifying software settings according to the customer-specific needs and workflow
<ul><li>Modifying software on-site for format generating for machine-specific data transfer</li><li>
Modifying postprocessors based on the customer machine controls</li></ul>
</li><li>Training customers on ZOLLER machine software and hardware: 95% of training is software; 5% mechanical</li><li>
Installing and training TMS Tool Management Solutions software at customer locations</li><li>
Analyzing, testing, modifying customer systems or software based on system design specifications</li><li>
Advising customers on technical specifications; recommending unique software and computer configurations</li><li>
Managing SQL databases hosted on SQL servers</li><li>
Demonstrating software features during ZOLLER meetings or customer presentations</li></ul> 


Mechanical:
<ul><li>
Performing maintenance on electronic and pneumatic components</li><li>
Installing and mechanical alignment of ZOLLER tool presetter and measuring machines</li><li>
Consulting with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications</li><li>
Training customers on hardware: 95% of training is software; 5% mechanical</li><li>
Analyzing, testing or modification of customer systems</li><li>
Understanding complex customer network infrastructures and recognizing customer needs</li><li>
Reading schematics and wiring diagrams related to electrical components</li><li>
Operating system hardware and software to demonstrate tool presetters and analyze malfunctions</li><li>
Advising and making recommendations to management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance and product improvements</li></ul> 


Requirements:
<ul><li>
Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in manufacturing, information technology, software or equivalent work experience</li><li>
Demonstrate strong information technology aptitude, computer networks and related work experience</li><li>
Have experience with computers, networking, software, namely Windows NT and other Windows programs, Microsoft Office, Crystal Reports and DBMS</li><li>
Possess a current passport and valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>
Have knowledge of CAM interfaces including Mastercam ESPRIT, Gibbs, Siemens NX, others</li><li>
Have knowledge and experience with NC-programming</li><li>
Work a flexible schedule including weekends</li><li>
Travel Monday through Friday</li><li>
Travel outside of specified region</li><li>
Self-motivation and ability to work independently and within a team</li></ul>

This is a full-time position offering competitive salary commensurate with one&rsquo;s experience, 401K with employer contribution, health and dental insurance, PTO and paid holidays. We are interested in a long-term commitment.</div>
