Key ResponsibilitiesCore Accounting &amp; Financial Operations<ul><li>Maintain daily bookkeeping, ledger records, and manage the full set of corporate accounts using standard accounting software.</li></ul><ul><li>Support monthly/quarterly closing, perform monthly bank reconciliations, and prepare/issue financial statements and summaries for HQ reporting.</li></ul><ul><li>File, archive, and manage all financial vouchers, receipts, invoices, contracts, and supporting documents in an organized manner.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist in handling local banking operations, transactions, and coordinating with bank representatives.</li></ul>Tax Compliance &amp; Audits<ul><li>Independently calculate and file all required Pakistan tax returns, including Corporate Income Tax, Sales Tax/GST, Personal Income Tax, Withholding Tax (WHT), Stamp Duty, etc.</li></ul><ul><li>Handle and coordinate corporate annual audits, SECP annual filings, and ensure compliance with other statutory annual returns.</li></ul>Corporate Governance &amp; HR Administration<ul><li>Handle amendments, registration updates, and changes to corporate business licenses, certificates, and entity documents with SECP, FBR, and other authorities.</li></ul><ul><li>Manage applications, renewals, and filing processes for various business qualifications and operational licenses.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with local HR and administrative matters, including payroll calculation, onboarding/offboarding paperwork, attendance coordination, and other office administrative duties.</li></ul><ul><li>Handle other financial, administrative, and operational matters as requested by the HQ finance team or management.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; RequirementsMust-Have<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field</li></ul><ul><li>1&ndash;3 years of hands-on accounting experience</li></ul><ul><li>Able to independently prepare and file Pakistan tax returns (WHT, GST, FBR) &mdash; this is non-negotiable</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in standard accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent)</li></ul><ul><li>Strong written and spoken English &mdash; primary working language with HQ</li></ul><ul><li>Self-directed and reliable: able to work remotely with minimal supervision</li></ul><ul><li>Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping habits</li></ul>Nice-to-Have<ul><li>ACCA, ICAP, or CMA (in progress or partially qualified) &mdash; preferred but not required</li></ul><ul><li>Experience handling SECP filings, trade licenses, or government document processing</li></ul><ul><li>Basic spoken or written Chinese (Mandarin) &mdash; useful for HQ communication</li></ul><ul><li>Prior experience in a startup, tech, or international company environment</li></ul>Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per monthWork Location: Remote
