Job Summary - Saudi Arabia
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive project schedules across various engineering disciplines, including manufacturing, construction, and systems engineering. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in CAD and system design tools, and a solid foundation in mechanical, civil, or quantum engineering. The Planning Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring project timelines are met through effective project management, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

Duties

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules using approved planning tools.
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule deviations, and recommend corrective actions as required.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Prepare, analyze, and present detailed progress reports and schedule updates to management and stakeholders.
• Identify potential project risks related to schedule and develop effective mitigation and recovery plans.
• Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
