Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 02 Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and industry codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment on construction sites and renovation projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters, ensuring precise diagnostics
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation processes
- Follow NEC guidelines and local electrical codes to ensure all work meets safety standards
- Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry and general contractors to coordinate project timelines
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur
- Assist in the installation of high voltage systems and support ongoing renovation efforts in commercial or industrial environments
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and inspection reports
Experience
- Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of complex electrical systems in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Commercial electrician experience working on construction sites or renovation projects is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems, high voltage applications, and NEC compliance standards
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools like drills and saws
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks is a plus
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and previous experience working on construction or renovation projects is preferred
- Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters effectively for diagnostics
- Handyman experience or general construction skills that complement electrical work are advantageous

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
