Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software meets design specifications and quality standards.
* Identify, document, and track software defects with precision, and work with developers to see them through to resolution.
* Perform thorough manual and automated testing across various platforms and devices.
* Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
* Collaborate effectively with product managers and software developers to understand requirements and provide valuable feedback on usability and performance.
* Participate in the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes and methodologies.
* Analyse test results and prepare detailed reports to communicate findings to the wider technical team.

Qualifications

* Proven experience working as a Quality Assurance Tester, QA Engineer, or in a similar role.
* A strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development frameworks is highly desirable.
* Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) would be a significant advantage.
* A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject is preferred but not essential.
