1-on-1 Tutor

About the Role: Driven For Education is looking for great teachers to join our team in Glendale. You will work one-on-one with students in grades K-6. Your goal is to help them get better at school, finish their homework, and feel more confident. We want someone who is kind but also knows how to keep students focused on their work.

What You’ll Do:

• Teach Math and English to one student at a time.
• Help students finish their school homework.
• Teach our lessons to help students get ahead.
• Write a quick report after every 2 weeks to show how the student is doing.
• Keep the area quiet, friendly, and ready for learning.

What We’re Looking For:

• You must have at least 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring children.
• You should be in college now or already have a college degree.
• You must be a great communicator. If you speak both Armenian and English, that is a huge plus!
• You must have a reliable way to get to our office in Glendale.

Schedule & Pay:

• Pay: $20 per hour.
• Hours: Part-time, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
• Location: In-person in Glendale, CA.
