Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team as a full-time employee. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light and medium-duty vehicles while maintaining proper documentation and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate is dependable, experienced, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate vehicle service records (manual and electronic)
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
• Conduct safety inspections and complete required documentation
• Inspect and repair vehicle undercarriage and components
• Access all areas of vehicles/equipment to perform maintenance
• Remove, install, and transport parts as needed
• Maintain general upkeep of the mobile service truck
• Respond to off-site/mobile service requests
• Communicate with clients via phone and email
• Follow all company procedures, laws, and safety regulations
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

• 5+ years of vehicle maintenance experience OR Auto Technology diploma
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Ability to operate vehicles over 10,000 lbs (medical certification required)
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, fleet systems, email)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to operate manual transmission for diagnostics
• Must provide own hand tools and toolbox
• MACS Certification preferred OR equivalent EPA Section 609 Certification preferred - Must be willing to obtain
• Automotive HVAC experience preferred

Working Conditions

• Exposure to traffic while performing duties
• Exposure to dust, fumes, noise, oils, and chemicals
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
