Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to Emergency Calls:
  • Drive to emergency scenes using emergency vehicles (ambulances or other medical transport).
  • Respond rapidly to medical emergencies, whether in urban, rural, or industrial settings.
  • Assess the nature and severity of the patient’s condition upon arrival.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure a coordinated response.
  • Patient Assessment and Care:
  • Perform medical evaluations of patients, including checking vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, oxygen levels).
  • Diagnose and manage various medical conditions, including heart attacks, strokes, trauma, allergic reactions, and other emergencies.
  • Administer emergency medical treatments such as administering oxygen, CPR, medication, and IV fluids.
  • Provide advanced life support (ALS) including intubation, defibrillation, and drug administration as needed.
  • Stabilize patients and prevent further injury or complications before and during transport.
  • Transport to Medical Facilities:
  • Safely transport patients to medical facilities while providing continuous care during transit.
  • Monitor patients during transport, adjusting medical treatments as necessary.
  • Communicate with receiving hospitals to provide information about the patient's condition and treatment plan.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Complete accurate and detailed patient care reports, including information about assessments, treatments provided, and the patient's response to care.
  • Ensure all medical records are properly documented and comply with legal and organizational standards.
  • Collaboration with Medical Teams:
  • Work closely with EMTs, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
  • Consult with physicians or medical directors for additional instructions if needed.
  • Patient and Family Support:
  • Provide reassurance and support to patients and their families during highly stressful and emotional situations.
  • Explain procedures to patients and family members to help alleviate fear and confusion.
  • Maintaining Equipment and Vehicle:
  • Ensure that all medical equipment is in working order and fully stocked before and after every shift.
  • Conduct regular checks and maintenance of emergency vehicles to ensure they are ready for use.
  • Adhering to Safety and Legal Protocols:
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure personal safety, patient safety, and the safety of other emergency responders.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding emergency medical services (EMS).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
