12-17 month old Lead Daycare Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher for our 12-17 month old's

The ideal candidate will have to have a strong background in classroom management and have some experience in working in a childcare license center within the last year or so, If not we will train you. must know Childcare Licensing Minimum standards and familiar with TRS (Texas Rising Star) if not you will be trained on the standards. Must be able to communicate with Parents very well and get along with Co-workers in a professional manner. and be able to support each child's individuals needs, must be able to interact and communicate with children on a daily basis, and know how to respond promptly to each child's needs. along with a passion for fostering positive relationships and promoting the well-being of our children. This leadership role requires strategic oversight, Know how to do Lesson Plans and implementing them according to age appropriate activities , and effective relationship management to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of Children.
• Classroom Management
• Responding to child's needs in a timely manner.
• Follow Childcare license Minimum standards and staying in compliance with Texas Rising Star.
• Must be able to obtain required annual training hours (30hrs) in child development or already have 30 hrs. required Child Development hours that is required by Childcare Licensing and TRS
• Must be able to pass background checks
• Must have Pediatric CPR/FIRST AID or able to get it. (must be done in person, not on-line )
• Must have reliable transportation and able to show up for work on time and daily.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in working with children in a license childcare center.
• Strong background in Classroom management.
• Excellent skills in budgeting and financial management related to program operations.
• Must be 18 years old or over.
• Must have H.S. Diploma/GED or higher Education
• Current DL/ID
• Must have a Social Security Card

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
