12 Volt Technician (100% Travel – Independent Contractor)

$1,800/week Starting | 1099 Independent Contractor | Nationwide Travel

We’re looking for skilled 12Volt Technicians who are ready to travel, hustle, and wire up some of the largest commercial fleets in the country. If you are passionate about automotive electrical systems and ready to travel, have your own tools, and a reliable vehicle, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing GPS systems, dash cams, and other fleet safety hardware
• Traveling to various job sites nationwide— 100% travel required
• Troubleshooting 12-volt wiring, power, and hardware issues
• Delivering professional and efficient installation services

Qualifications:

• Solid knowledge of 12-volt systems (professional, hobbyist, or self-taught)
• Own essential 12V tools (drill, multimeter, crimpers, etc.)
• Reliable vehicle to travel between job sites.
• Willingness to work away from home for days, weeks, months at a time without home time
• Must be able to work in extreme work environments(heat, cold, dirt, grease, etc.)
• Have a Smart Phone/laptop
• Clean, professional attitude — this is a customer-facing role

Compensation & Work Schedule:

• $1800 per week starting
• 1099 Contractor Position (no per diem — rate reflects this)
• Schedule is full-time; expect weekday and occasional weekend work
• Long-term work opportunities available for consistent performers

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with telematics systems such as Samsara, Lytx, Mobileye, or PeopleNet.
• Background in fleet installations or dealership experience.
• Prior experience in travel-based installation work
