1300 Assembly Technician

Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our high-performing 1300 Department. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on cabinetry or woodworking experience who are eager to expand their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work with precision tools and a supportive team to assemble cabinets that exceed expectations.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble cabinet components using precision tools and industry-standard equipment.
  • Inspect parts for quality, identify any surface or coating defects, and determine appropriate repair or rework steps.
  • Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members across your department to support production flow and improve overall assembly quality.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and your work area to ensure safety, efficiency, and product integrity.
  • Share ideas for improving processes and outcomes—we value technicians who think critically and take ownership.
  • Assist other areas or departments as needed to support overall production goals.

What You Bring

  • Prior assembly experience, ideally in cabinetry, furniture, or a manufacturing setting, is a plus. However, your eagerness to learn and strong work ethic are what truly matter. We're committed to providing comprehensive training for the right candidate.
  • Comfortable reading production schedules and job paperwork.
  • Familiar with basic measurements and able to use a tape measure accurately.
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools to assemble cabinet components and hardware.
  • A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
