Sincerus is looking for an experienced professional to provide expert support to the U.S. Department of Defense. Sincerus seeks a highly skilled, motivated professional and knowledgeable subject matter expert to join our Training Team in support of the newly partner nations equipped with the THAAD and their Firing Units. This role will involve preparing units to successfully complete Table VIII, ensuring proficiency in the operation, maintenance, and tactical deployment of the THAAD system. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in a wide range of THAAD system operations, including missile reloads, system configuration, air battle management, and joint kill chain procedures.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the employment, operation, and maintenance of the THAAD system, ensuring the unit is fully prepared to execute mission-critical tasks.
- Lead and support training activities focused on movement and emplacement drills, including missile reload operations, system initialization, and configuration.
- Conduct training on various THAAD system drills, including Radar Frequency Adjustment (RFA) drills, establishment and maintenance of communication links, and air battle management.
- Instruct on air defense tactics and joint kill chain procedures, emphasizing coordination between THAAD and other defense systems.
- Provide guidance on system maintenance and fault recognition, ensuring that the unit can identify and address technical issues efficiently.
- Deliver training in both basic and intermediate defense design principles, focusing on operational readiness and adaptability.
- Oversee the establishment of reporting procedures and ensure accurate communication of system status and operational updates.
- Utilize and demonstrate expertise in the THAAD radar system, ensuring its integration into the overall air defense strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Sincerus Systems Tacticians and 14E Fire Control Operator instructors to deliver comprehensive, effective training to the partner nation THAAD Firing Units.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in the operation, maintenance, and deployment of the THAAD system, including missile defense operations and radar systems.
- In-depth knowledge of air defense tactics, joint kill chain procedures, and air battle management.
- Strong understanding of system configuration, initialization, and fault recognition for complex defense systems.
- Experience with training and instructing military personnel, particularly in the context of THAAD system operations and maintenance.
- Expertise in THAAD radar systems and their integration into broader air defense frameworks.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience working with 140K Systems Tacticians and 14E Fire Control Operator instructors is highly desirable.
Mandatory Requirements
- Two (2) years' experience in a U.S. Army THAAD Battery
- Doctor's certificate of physical health with up-to-date immunizations for countries involved.
- Background check and secret clearance
- Active passport with at least 6 months validity
Desired Experience
- At least five years of experience as an MOS 14E in a U.S. Army THAAD Battery
- Tactical Control Assistant at a THAAD Battery
- Has experience as
- Additional Skill Identifier (ASI) of 7A
- Experience within the THAAD Battery Command Post (TBCP)
- Tactical Control Assistant (14E 40 / 30) at a U.S. Patriot or U.S. Army THAAD Battery
- Brigade Standardization THAAD team experience
- Air Defense Artillery Fire Control Assistant (ADAFCA)
- PMG experience
- TCO-ECS and / or TCS experience
- Battalion Standardization Team at a U.S. Patriot Battalion
