18T Class 2 Rigid Driver

Job Overview:
Due to an increase in business, we are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 18T Rigid Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations using commercial vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay - salary is open to negotiation, depending on experience.

General haulage work with Tail-Lift and pump truck deliveries, handball deliveries and Central London deliveries when required.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured
- Inspect vehicles for any mechanical issues or damage before and after each trip
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries

Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver
- Familiarity with local roads and routes (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and the office in a professional manner
