1999 Cleared Network Engineer (TS/SCI)

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES:

All Points is seeking a Cleared Network Engineer (TS/SCI) to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Chantilly, VA. The selected candidate will support IT networks, systems, and initiatives with activities that include information systems operations, information systems development and modernization, and IT security. The team is also responsible for the development, implementation, and subsequent operations and maintenance of new applications for each fiscal year. The operation of existing applications and new application initiatives are critical to the success of the FBI mission. Additionally, thousands of personnel in the law enforcement, intelligence, legal, and administrative communities use these services daily to perform mission-critical work. These applications require responsive, effective, and specialized technical expertise to limit disruption to FBI operations.

*THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE, CURRENT, AND FULLY ADJUDICATED US DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE WITH SCI ELIGIBILITY*

As a Senior Network Engineer, the selected candidate will:
  • Design, install, maintain, and evaluate network systems and communications.
  • Gather user network requirements and provide necessary technical documentation while supporting the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret) that enables users to access data securely across the network infrastructure.
  • Provide necessary technical documentation, system requirements documents, and security requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues involving various protocols, topologies, and networking hardware
  • Assist with network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies
  • Apply technical and business experience to improve processes for deploying and maintaining network infrastructure
  • Work independently and collectively to help improve network solutions
  • Design, deploy, test, certify, and patch network components including switches, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Address interoperability issues for all features, components, and application dependencies
  • Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
  • Respond to and resolve critical network incidents within designated resolution timelines

SAFe 6.0 Facilitation Support (contract support PM & Agile team support)
Summary: Responsible for guidance and facilitation of SAFe Principles. Plan and manage the work, and values to uphold while promoting alignment, collaboration, and delivery across large numbers of agile teams, currently aligned in two Agile Release Trains. The first aligns teams to focus on enabling operational insight by increasing data discoverability through enterprise search or query. The second aligns teams to focus on enabling the operational analysis and triage of data through visualization, enrichments, and analytics within Global Mission Analytics (GMA).

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
  • 8-10 Years
SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency with:
    • Network hardware (Cisco, Arista, SonicWall)
    • Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S)
    • Firewall configuration and management
    • Load balancer implementation
    • Software-defined networking
    • VPN technologies
    • Network security principles and practices
    • Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
    • Network performance optimization
Additional Technical Experience Preferred:
  • Cloud networking (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S)
  • Containerization networking (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Tunneling protocols (GRE, IPSec, SSH, SSL)
  • Cross-domain solutions
  • Network automation and orchestration
  • Experience with SAFe Agile framework
  • Arista/Cisco, on-prem, Linux, and AWS networking experience
  • Strong understanding of multi-enclave network environments
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure networks in government environments
  • Relevant network certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) preferred

SECURITY CLEARANCE:
  • US Citizenship required
  • Active, current, and fully adjudicated (no interim) US Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. May be required to take CI Polygraph.
