1st-3rd Grade Teacher - Christian School

Olivet Academy is a Christian private school. The teachers here strive to enable students of every academic level to reach their God-given potential best for impacting the world for Jesus Christ. Whether it be a need for extra assistance, encouragement, or challenge, we place a high priority on providing the necessary resources and environments that promote learning and propel students toward positive achievement.

For 2024-2025 school year, we are looking for hiring one onsite teachers, a combined G1-3 class. There will be a assistant teacher to help with the class. The group has 4 kids now.

Qualifications Required:

• Be able to teach various subjects: literature, language arts, social studies and science, etc.
• Use professionally accepted techniques to motivate students to perform at their highest level.
• Create an effective environment for learning.
• Use planning, preparation, and conference time effectively.
• Establish and maintain open lines of communication with students.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred

Being a lead teacher before and having experience with the Charlotte Mason Method are highly advantageous!

Currently we have less than 10 students in this combined class.

Job Type: Full-time, 7:30am-3:30pm; 8:00am-4:00pm

Compensation: negotiable

Benefits: paid public/school holiday+paid sick leave.
