1st and 2nd Shift Quality Control

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Associate inspects products to assure that they meet standards for durability, function, customer satisfaction. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday with some overtime and Saturday work required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Test materials before, during, and after production

· Measure the characteristics of materials and ensure that they conform to specifications

· Daily QMS maintenance

· Floor/roving audits

· Data entry including Unipoint data

· Completes outgoing shipment documentation

· Assist in other areas as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to prioritize tasks

· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

· Work well with a team

· Have firm understanding of Plus of ISO9001:2015 standards

Education and Experience:

· Work experience with a Comparator, Micrometers, Calipers, and Go & No-Go gauges preferred

· 3-5 years quality inspection background in sheet metal/tubing manufacturing preferred

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing/stationary position

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

· Repetitive motion of arms, hands, wrists

PPE:

· Safety Glasses Required

· Hearing Protection required in certain areas

· Safety Toe Shoes preferred but not required

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
