2. Estimation Engineer – Conveyor Belt Maintenance

Main Accountabilities:

• Review tender documents, RFQs, drawings, and technical specifications related to conveyor belt maintenance projects.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess conveyor systems, belt conditions, maintenance requirements, and project scope.
• Conveyor belt replacement
• Belt splicing and jointing
• Pulley lagging
• Conveyor structure repair
• Idler and roller replacement
• Preventive and corrective maintenance
• Shutdown and breakdown maintenance works
• Estimate manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and consumables required for project execution.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations for materials and services.
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), costing sheets, technical offers, and commercial proposals.
• Analyze project risks, productivity factors, and operational requirements to ensure accurate pricing.
• Support the sales and business development team during tender clarification meetings and client discussions.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain estimation records, pricing databases, and historical cost data for future reference.
• Coordinate with project execution teams to verify actual project costs and improve future estimations.
• Assist in contract review, variation orders, and additional work estimations during project execution.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to estimation activities and tender submissions.

Education, Experience and General Requirements:

• 5-10 years Estimation Experience in Conveyor Belt Installation, Maintenance & Shutdown Operations. Minimum 5 Years of Qatar Experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
