We are seeking a qualified, passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team and support the early education and development of young children across our preschool program. This position is not limited to a specific classroom and may involve working with various age groups and teams, depending on the needs of the program.
The ideal candidate will have a strong love for children, a high level of patience, and a deep understanding of early childhood development. You should be familiar with best practices in preschool education and able to create a nurturing and engaging environment that supports the emotional, social, and cognitive growth of each child.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate learning activities suitable for preschool-aged children
- Use a variety of educational methods (storytelling, structured play, songs, media, etc.) to foster learning and development
- Support each child’s growth by observing behaviors, encouraging positive social interactions, and building self-confidence
- Promote cooperation and kindness among children, helping them navigate conflicts and build friendships
- Guide artistic, practical, and cognitive development through activities like shape/color recognition, crafts, and simple math concepts
- Supervise children consistently to ensure safety during playtime, snack time, and rest periods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Track developmental progress and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
- Collaborate effectively with other teachers and staff to support a cohesive preschool program
- Adapt to different classrooms and age groups as needed within the preschool setting
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher, Early Childhood Educator, or similar role
- Knowledge of early childhood education practices and curriculum standards
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude
- Flexibility to work with different preschool age groups and support various classrooms
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in Early Childhood Education preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
