Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and reliable 20-Seater Bus Driver to join our team as a contractor, responsible for transporting airline crew members safely and efficiently. As a 1099 contractor, you will operate a 20-passenger bus, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 20-seater bus for transporting airline crew members between designated locations, including airports, hotels, and other transit points.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning of all systems.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and clients to confirm schedules, routes, and any changes in real-time.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or maintenance needs during shifts.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks or report issues promptly to ensure continuous safe operation.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, including bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driving roles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance.
• Familiarity with paratransit operations and motor coach systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English for interacting with passengers and team members effectively.
• Ability to handle various types of vehicles such as school buses, limousine services, or other passenger transport vehicles.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with professionalism and patience when dealing with diverse passengers.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for operating a bus or commercial vehicle; CDL certification preferred but not mandatory.
