2020 Cabinet Designer & Assistant to Interior Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a 2020 Cabinet Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating custom cabinet designs using your expertise in drafting & knowledge of cabinet layouts & design, as well as assisting the principal interior designer.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on new construction & renovation projects, collaborating closely with contractors, and project managers to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

• Develop detailed cabinet drawings & quotes using 2020 software to produce precise layouts and visualizations. Proficiency in 2020 is essential. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe, Word & excel is helpful
• Verifying all appliance/sinks/countertops specifications are in line with the cabinet design
• Ordering/Receiving/Handling all cabinet hardware as well as detailing locations for each project and delivering onsite
• Field measure projects at specific framing stages
• Prepare notes & real-time pictures for job site superintendents
• Checking in all materials received
• Delivering & picking up materials to jobsites & warehouses; as needed
• Onsite for cabinet deliveries, pre-walk throughs & completion walk-throughs
• Ability to communicate effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Assist Principal Interior Designer during client color sessions. Preparing selection sheets, preparing specification sheets & converting into pdf files, taking pictures of materials, maintaining showroom samples & updated materials.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
