Looking for a well-rounded experience in Investment Casting?
Hitchiner is seeking students to be part of its Winter & Summer 2026 Internship Program in Milford, NH. Over several weeks, interns will gain valuable real-world experience in various manufacturing environments supporting Hitchiner’s process and product engineering teams or within the operations support teams.
There are many different projects available including collecting data for labor hours against standard and efficiency analysis; product and process engineering analysis for shrink and scrap factors; and improving documentation for gage calibration. Additionally, throughout the internship, interns will have the opportunity to develop mentoring relationships with members of Hitchiner’s management team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree candidate in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Robotics, Materials Engineering, Chemical, Automation preferred.
Completion of sophomore year
Familiar with a variety of engineering concepts within the field (SolidWorks, GD&T)
Must possess good communication and organizational skills
Must be self-motivated once direction is given and not afraid to ask questions
Computer literacy is a must, including competency in general MS Office applications
