Job Announcement- Senior Site Coordinator 21st Century
Location: Community Services YMCA
FLSA: Full Time Exempt
Salary: $46,980.84-$52,853.45
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administers the day-to-day operations of primary 21st Century site and ensures grant program compliance and ensuring each School Age Child Care program meets all state, local, and YMCA regulations and standards; Responsible for updating and storing collection of standardized program forms for School Age Child Care programs.
2. Collaborates with school partners at site to ensure that all aspects of the grant programming are developmentally appropriate and meet the individual physical, social, emotional, and academic needs of participants. Share in the development and implementation of comprehensive School Age Child Care and Day Camp programs including curriculum components to ensure high quality through program development.
3. Actively engages in and demonstrates ability to participate in all activities associated with the scheduled program for both 21st Century and School Age Child Care programs.
4. Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates site staff and volunteers across sites, with support from the Sr. Program Director and provides Association leadership for Child Care Staff development, certification and training.
5. Inputs data into multiple required platforms and act as specialist and trainer in data collection systems required for state and YMCA (Daxko) reporting.
6. Leads ongoing program evaluation and progress monitoring for 21st Century grant, in partnership with school partners, the Sr. Program Director, and the Data Support Specialist, ensuring data collection informs program
7. Ensures policies, child abuse and neglect guidelines, and proper reporting procedures for grant services.
8. Oversees purchasing and resource management for grant program, planning and implementing expenditures in a responsible and equitable manner.
9. Ensures strict adherence to the Association’s Child Protection employees are expected to perform all other duties as necessary or assigned/directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be at least 21 years of age with a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.
2. Must complete and maintain current status in First Aid, Common Childhood Illnesses, Child Abuse Prevention and CPR.
3. Must possess oral, auditory and written communication skills appropriate for interacting with both children and adults; and ability to make sound decisions based on data/assessment of need of program and participants.
4. Must be capable of directing the daily administrative, program related, and supervisory responsibilities of a school-age education program.
5. Must possess and demonstrate ability to engage in all activities associated with the daily care, activities, and routines of the program’s children including but not limited to: interacting with children at floor level, physical education activities such as running, jumping, etc., lifting children and or equipment, and participating in outdoor activities, field trips and swimming as needed.
