2391 Electrician - Urgent Hire

Are you a fully qualified test & inspection electrician looking for your next role?

Bristol-based (BS16) Circle Electrical Ltd is looking to recruit a fully qualified full-time test & inspection electrician to work on varied, high-end commercial, domestic and small industrial projects of varying size and scope.

We are a dynamic, growing company with a diverse and trusted client base across the public, private, and insurance repair sectors. Our typical clients include local authority and independent schools, colleges, and universities, as well as domestic and commercial insurance reinstatement and repair providers. We also serve emergency services, visitor attractions and luxury hotels.

Essential qualifications and experience:

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
• AM2 Assessment qualification
• Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 (18th edition)
• ECS card holder
• Proven post-qualification on-site experience
• Level 3 qualification in Inspection and Testing (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)

Desirable qualifications and experience:

• Renewable technology installations

What else you'll need:

• Full driving licence for travel to and from sites (within a 50-mile radius)
• Enhanced DBS criminal record check to be undertaken

Your responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment using hand and power tools.
• Testing your own work, completing installation certificates and third party testing (EICRs).
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices and electrical improvers as required.

What you'll get from us:

• Annual salary between £42,000 and £50,000, depending on qualifications and experience
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour's unpaid break
