25-26SY Immediate Teacher's Assistant

The person selected for this position will be responsible for assisting classroom teachers in the general supervision and management of the children. The person selected for this position shall be at least 18 years of age. This person must be able to relate well to children and employees, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the school's educational philosophy. - Assisting in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up and preparing needed materials and supplies;

- Maintaining professional attitudes and loyalty to the school;

- Follow and execute directions given by building’s leaders;

- Respond with a sense of urgency to coverage needs and schedules daily;

- Provide supervision for all grade level lunches;

-Provide classroom coverage as needed;

- Be flexible with time and schedule to meet the needs of the scholars and school as determined by the building’s leaders;

-Preferred; NYS Teacher's Assistant Certification or in the process of acquiring this certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 per year
