Overview
The Analyst will be responsible for researching and collecting data for 911 circuits and trunks as
documented in AT&T inventory control databases, circuit inventory databases, and/or
associated systems. The Analyst will investigate telecom acquisitions and/or mergers, establish current corporate identities for all originating service providers (OSPs) in AT&T databases, and prepare reports on the same using AT&T internal tools and internet research.
The Analyst will need to ensure all work is completed on time and accurately in accordance
with stakeholder expectations as part of a team working in a fast-paced, constantly changing
environment.
The Analyst will:
- Collaborate and contribute to the success of the project through ad hoc research taskings from Wire Center Migration team members (primarily OSP migration managers, but others on the team, as well).
- Research and compile information obtained through internal AT&T systems, internet research, and review and analysis of regulatory documents.
- Manage data collection efforts relative to circuit and OSP corporate identity information and keep project databases current and updated.
- Enter and maintain all relevant data in the project data collection and management applications.
- Perform data entry and data updates in many different project applications, especially Excel and QuickBase.
- Prepare data and identify key information for all 911 services associated with the Wie Center Migration Project.
Required Skills
General Abilities
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience
- Experience performing detail-oriented relational database researcher
- Experience utilizing various tools to collect and analyze data
- Strong organizational, data management, and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data
Specific Technical Skills
- Understanding of telecom circuit provisioning processes, data systems, and circuit technologies
- Familiarity with legacy telecom technology, preferably in the 911 space
- Understanding of Common Language Location Identifier (CLLI) codes and legacy time division multiplexing (TDM)-based telecom equipment circuits and their related provisioning systems
Desired Skills
- Five to eight (5 to 8) years of experience in a telecom environment and working with 911 systems
- Experience using carrier organization inventory tools (e.g., Trunks Integrated Record
- Keeping System [TIRKS])
