Role Overview
The Product Owner – Spare Parts is a key member of the Product Development team for the Sooq Cars mobile application and is responsible for owning, shaping, and delivering the product vision and roadmap for the Spare Parts platform.
This role serves as the single point of ownership for product direction, ensuring alignment between business objectives, market needs, customer requirements, and technical execution. The Product Owner works closely with sales operations, field teams, indoor operations, engineering, and key stakeholders to deliver scalable, market-ready solutions that support growth, operational efficiency, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities1. Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

Own and continuously manage the product roadmap for the Spare Parts platform.

Translate business strategy, market trends, and operational needs into a clear product vision and prioritized backlog.

Define short-, medium-, and long-term product initiatives aligned with commercial and operational goals.

Balance new feature development, technical debt, and operational improvements.
2. Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Management

Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements from:

Sales and operations teams

Field officers and indoor sales teams

Key customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders

Act as the bridge between business and technology, ensuring shared understanding of scope, priorities, and success criteria.

Clearly articulate product requirements using user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

Ensure delivered features meet business requirements and are operationally viable.

Ensure product features support sales workflows, onboarding processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Contribute to internal documentation, training materials, and release communications.
3. Market & Customer Focus

Develop deep understanding of the spare parts ecosystem, including traders, vendors, suppliers, and buyers.

Incorporate feedback from sales operations and field teams into continuous product improvement.

Analyze platform performance, user behavior, and adoption metrics to guide prioritization.

Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, efficiency, and monetization.
4. Governance & Continuous Improvement

Own product KPIs and success metrics.

Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints early and proactively manage them.

Continuously refine processes, tools, and methodologies to improve product delivery effectiveness.
5. Flexibility & Role Evolution

Remain open and adaptable to role changes, additional responsibilities, or scope adjustments as required by market conditions, business needs, and organizational growth.
Mandatory

6+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product leadership role.

Proven experience owning and delivering digital platforms or marketplaces, preferably in automotive, spare parts, logistics, or B2B commerce.

Strong experience in product roadmap ownership, backlog prioritization, and requirements management.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
