26ft OTR Box Truck Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver (OTR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.

Duties

• Operate straight box truck OTR, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Driver must be able to drive during day and night shifts.
• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.
• Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times while adhering to traffic laws.
• Load and unload cargo, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring that all items are secured properly.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transport.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Utilize lift gate and pallet jack or other equipment as necessary for loading/unloading tasks.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Box Truck Driver.
• Proven background Driving with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Must have valid DOT Medical examiners card

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per week
