Job Title: CNC 2D/3D Designer – Acrylic & Forex Fabrication
Location: Ajman / Sharjah, UAE

About the Role

We are looking for a CNC-focused 2D/3D Designer ( Arabic Speakers) with hands-on experience in acrylic and forex (PVC) fabrication. This is not a purely graphic design role — you must understand machine-ready file preparation, material behavior, and production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D and 3D designs for CNC routing, laser cutting, and engraving
• Prepare production-ready vector files (clean paths, proper layers, correct scaling)
• Generate and optimize DXF / AI / DWG files for CNC machines
• Coordinate with machine operators to ensure accurate execution
• Adjust designs based on material limitations and machine constraints
• Perform layout nesting to minimize material waste
• Review and correct files to avoid production errors

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in CNC design for acrylic and forex
• Strong knowledge of:
• AutoCAD / CorelDRAW / Adobe Illustrator
• CNC software (e.g., ArtCAM, Aspire, Fusion 360 is a plus)
• Solid understanding of:
• Vector vs raster workflows
• Toolpaths, kerf, offsets, and cutting depth
• Experience working with:
• Laser cutting / CNC routing machines
• Ability to deliver machine-ready files without supervision

Material & Production Knowledge (Must Have)

• Familiar with acrylic cutting, engraving, bending, and polishing
• Understanding of forex (PVC board) machining behavior
• Ability to adjust designs based on thickness and finishing requirements

What We Are NOT Looking For

• Graphic designers with no CNC or production experience
• Candidates who only use Photoshop or raster-based tools
• Applicants without real fabrication project samples

Required From Applicants

• Portfolio of actual CNC / acrylic / forex projects
• Sample DXF / AI files (if available)
• Ability to complete a practical design test

Preferred

• Experience in signage, display, or advertising fabrication
• Knowledge of material cost estimation and sheet optimization
• Ability to work under tight deadlines

Competitive, based on experience
