2D Animator

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and creative 2D Animator with at least 3 years of professional experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of animation principles, storytelling, and visual design, as well as proficiency in industry-standard animation tools. You will work closely with our creative, design, and production teams to bring characters, environments, and concepts to life through compelling motion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 2D animations for characters, environments, and visual effects.
• Collaborate with art directors, illustrators, and designers to develop engaging animated content.
• Interpret storyboards, scripts, and concepts into polished animation sequences.
• Work within production timelines to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Implement feedback from creative leads and clients efficiently.
• Ensure consistency of visual style and animation quality across all assets.
• Optimize animations for various platforms (video, web, mobile, or games).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a 2D Animator.
• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, After Effects, or TVPaint.
• Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash & stretch, anticipation, etc.).
• Ability to illustrate, storyboard, and conceptualize ideas visually.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of movement and rhythm.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous 2D animation work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with character rigging and compositing.
• Background in illustration or motion graphics.
• Knowledge of video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
• Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine) is a plus.
